Founder $100,000+ Sustaining Partnership
IMPACT: Your sustaining partnership sends an undeniable message to all families, volunteers, future donors, and community members that GiGi's Playhouse is worthy of their investment. Whether they are investing their time for their loved ones with Down syndrome, giving their talent as a volunteer, contributing financially, or looking to GiGi's for a source for their future employees, all will follow the lead of the Founding Partners as the true believers in the GiGi's mission. You will send a message of credibility, enable sustainability, and reinforce our lifetime commitment to families.
Builder $50,000 + Playhouse Buildout
IMPACT: Help support full Playhouse build-out and furnishings. GiGi’s Playhouse offers a physical brick-and-mortar place – a place to learn, a place to grow, a place to celebrate, and a place to know you're not alone. By underwriting our buildout, you will change how an entire community views Down syndrome and create an environment of acceptance and belief for all who enter. You will help us create a space to accommodate all of our programming needs.
Generation G $25,000
IMPACT: Be accepting. Be generous. Be kind. That is the message of Generation G. GiGi's mission is to change how the world views Down syndrome and send a global message of acceptance for all. Help us fulfill that mission in this community through awareness campaigns, outreach, and marketing materials. Awareness materials include national marketing materials, banners, mobile galleries, celebration packets, branded merchandise, and information booklets for parents, educators, and potential employers of participants with Down syndrome.
Fitness $25,000
IMPACT: GiGiFIT Gym and supplies. Adults and children enhance their physical fitness, muscle tone, self-esteem, self-expression, and socialization skills through GiGiFIT. The GiGiFIT program focuses on improving fitness through strength, endurance, joint stability, balance, and movement control. It promotes wellness through nutrition and building self-confidence. With programs for newborns through adults, the GiGiFIT programs address low muscle tone and joint laxity in individuals with Down syndrome and create an environment of lifetime physical therapy and fitness. As a Healthy Believer you will sponsor and sustain our gym to provide fitness and exercises for our whole community.
Independence $25,000
IMPACT: Help us to create a beautiful teaching kitchen! A dedicated kitchen area will allow individuals to learn skills to promote independence and enjoy the pleasure of cooking for themselves and others. The kitchen is a perfect place for socializing and real-world learning. Occupational and developmental therapy are key components of this area. Your generosity will allow us to install appliances to foster independent skills.
Innovation $20,000
IMPACT: Having a dedicated space will provide opportunities and experiences necessary for participants to become capable, self-reliant, self-motivated, and life-long learners. The area will allow for speakers, small group learning, and celebration. This space will include a learning table, ten (10) nesting chairs, smart tv and an interactive whiteboard.
Platinum Level
Technology $10,000
IMPACT: Help our Playhouse run smoothly and safely with up-to-date technology. We need computers for staff and volunteers and 1-2 televisions to inform and train parents, volunteers, donors, and community members. In addition, a security system with video cameras helps to keep participants and volunteers safe. Our music system is essential to providing a welcoming and celebratory feel at the playhouse.
Education $10,000
IMPACT: Children and adults expand their reading, math skills, speech and language skills, organization skills, self-confidence, and focus through our 1-on-1 Literacy and Math Tutoring and Speech and Language Therapy programs! They are one hundred percent learning, while the participants think they’re just having fun playing with letters, shapes, manipulatives, games, and tactile strategies that teach our participants the way they learn best.
Signage $10,000
IMPACT: Help families, volunteers, and community members find our Playhouse once we're open! We'll need either a light box sign, illuminated channel letters, or an awning sign, depending on the location of our facility. GiGi's Playhouse has a global brand image, and we want to broadcast it proudly to our community!
Gold Level
Sensory Room/Space $7500
IMPACT: The sensory space can provide a whole new world to those with Down syndrome. The area will provide individuals with significant therapeutic benefits by offering a multi-sensory experience. Benefits to the sensory area include developing the senses of sight, touch, and hearing, teaching cause and effect, providing a sense of security and calmness, encouraging vocalization and communication, improving coordination and gross motor skills, among many other benefits.
Office Space $5000
IMPACT: The Site Coordinator is the eyes and ears of the Playhouse. Their office is accessible and visible but also enables privacy for focused work to ensure a smoothly running Playhouse for all participants, family members, and volunteers. In addition, we will need an office for our Executive Director and Volunteers to plan, prepare program lessons, executive meetings, coordinate events and continue to be awesome!
Speech Therapy $7500
IMPACT: This will enable us to employ a Speech Language Pathologist for a year to provide the Amina Grace Speech Program at our Playhouse.
Silver Level
Sound Stage/Games Space $2500
IMPACT: Kids and adults with Down syndrome grow self-confidence as the center of attention. Programs include dance, karaoke, theater, and more! The stage is often the first place a participant tends to go when they first walk through the doors. The stage is a sign of pure acceptance and knowing that everyone at GiGi's supports and celebrates you for who you are. Games Room – will be a place for teens and adults to hang out, socialize and have fun.
Therapeutic Play Area $2500
IMPACT: Children and teenagers with Down syndrome participate in therapeutic play and activities with various equipment, toys, and manipulatives to develop motor skills, language skills, and social skills while interacting with their peers and siblings.
Playhouse Training and Support $2500
IMPACT: We are 99% volunteer-run! Training staff and volunteers takes time and resources, and we'll gain lots of assistance from the GiGi's National Office to get this done, but it is not free to execute. For our staff, board members, and essential volunteers, the GiGi's Annual National Leadership Conference in Chicago is pivotal for training, networking, and gaining inspiration from the 50+ other locations.
Bronze Level
Support a Program for $1000
IMPACT: 100% of GiGi's programs are free to families and are therapeutic or educational based. Each program is facilitated by a trained volunteer, many of whom are therapists and educators. Whether the focus is gross motor skills, fine motor skills, social development, speech and language, fitness, or career skills, every program at GiGi's Playhouse is purposeful and progressive. We focus on the needs specific to the Down syndrome community and teach in the way they learn best.
