About Detroit World Down Syndrome Day Dance Party 2020
Hey cats and kittens...we are hosting our 2nd Dance Party, a “1950’s Sock Hop” (on World Down Syndrome Day)! We’re movin’ tables, stackin’ chairs and planning a rockin' affair!! Join us at Groves High School for an afternoon of dancing and fun for GiGi’s Playhouse Detroit. Feel free to dress the theme or come as you are.
There are 3 ways to participate.
1. Create a team and recruit your family and friends to join you
2. Join an existing team
3. Make a donation to a team
Together we will raise funds that will enable us to provide FREE educational, therapeutic and career development programs to empower individuals with Down syndrome to reach their greatest potential. With your support, more individuals will learn how to read, improve their health and wellness, develop career skills, and live truly beautiful lives. Miracles happen at GiGi's Playhouse, where we turn belief into achievement!
* The top 10 fundraising teams/individuals will have a professional photo shoot of their loved one with Down syndrome to adorn the Playhouse's exterior windows for all to see!!!
