About Twin Cities Ava's Dance for Down Syndrome 2025

Join Us! 

Ava’s Dance for Down Syndrome is an annual fundraising event hosted by GiGi’s Twin Cities, inspired by the love of dancing and the memory of past participant Ava Granger.  

​Leading up to the event, community members and GiGi’s families unite to form fundraising teams to raise money to support programming at GiGi’s Playhouse Twin Cities. Then we all come together on Saturday, October 4th for a high-energy dance party to celebrate the impact and that Dance is For Everybody!  

Please join together to support GiGi’s Playhouse Down Syndrome Achievement Center. This essential resource in the Twin Cities offers 100% free programs that are educational, therapeutic and social in nature for the Down Syndrome community.

Saturday, October 4th 

5-7:30 pm

All ages- family friendly inclusive event 

Food trucks, photo booth, dance team performances and more 

Celebrate together. Dance is for Everyone.

Once registration is complete, invite friends and family, spread the word and begin fundraising. 

Team Incentives 

  • Personalize your team page and set a fundraising goal by August 4th and receive a yard sign (addition yard signs available for purchase) 

  • The top 3 fundraising teams on the leaderboard as of August 31st will win personalized t-shirts designed by GiGi’s for all team members  

  • Raise over $1,000 and your team can select a song to dance to on stage
