Sacramento Celebration Club

For many years WUSS has been giving something back to the community in which our conference is held. This year we are supporting GiGi’s Playhouse Sacramento, a non-profit organization that offers FREE educational, therapeutic-based, and career development programs for individuals with Down syndrome, their families, and the community. At GiGi's Playhouse we believe that cost should never be a barrier to achievement. 

GiGi's Playhouse Sacramento is part of an international network of brick-and-mortar Down Syndrome Achievement Centers, and the only location in Northern California. GiGi's Playhouse is a safe place where all are welcome, from pre-natal diagnosis to adults! GiGi’s Playhouse's goal is to empower individuals with Down syndrome and their families to reach their highest potential. Their research-based curricula work towards advancing literacy, math skills, gross and fine motor skills, improving low muscle tone, building self-esteem, preparing for the workforce, and more, while fostering acceptance, awareness and networking resources for parents, siblings and the community – all FREE of charge.

Your donation to GiGi’s Playhouse helps to provide FREE, life-changing therapeutic, educational, and career training programs to individuals with Down syndrome of all ages from all over the Greater Sacramento area – and beyond – every day.

GiGi’s Playhouse is on a mission to change the way the world views Down syndrome and your donation will help ensure MORE families receive FREE purposeful programs offered from prenatal diagnosis through adulthood!  Your support will ensure MORE children and adults with Down syndrome improve their speech and literacy, combat low muscle tone, and benefit from career development and real-world internship opportunities.
