GiGi’s Playhouse is a Down Syndrome Achievement Center which currently serves over 880 families in the Triangle area. In order to accommodate our continued growth, we are expanding to a new facility in the highly anticipated Downtown Cary Park area. Our mission at GiGi’s Playhouse is to change the perception of Down syndrome and send a global message of acceptance for all.  With our new facility in the heart of downtown our participants will be able to engage with our community daily through the increased visibility in this new, dynamic location. We have started a partnership with Howdy Homemade Ice Cream who will be opening their storefront right next to GiGi’s Playhouse in this iconic location. Through this partnership, we are creating a program to employ our adults. This partnership will grant many adults with the incredible opportunity to hold gainful, dignified employment–the type of work every human being deserves!  Our new facility will provide GiGi’s Playhouse to be a catalyst for change in our community.
