What is the GiGiFIT Acceptance Challenge?

The GiGiFIT Acceptance Challenge is a 5k run, 1-mile walk, or other fitness format — that brings people together to raise awareness, acknowledge, and support the challenges in the Down syndrome community.

Taking place at all our Playhouse locations across the country, the GiGiFIT Acceptance Challenge is GiGi’s Playhouse largest peer-to-peer fundraiser and a fun and inclusive fitness event that the entire community can attend!

Why Participate?

The money we raise from our GiGiFIT Acceptance Challenge events directly funds the 340,000 hours of FREE educational, therapeutic, and career development programming GiGi’s Playhouse provides to our participants and families a year.

Beyond this, our GiGiFIT Acceptance Challenge events give entire communities the opportunity to come together with the Down syndrome community to embrace differences, foster inclusivity, and create a more ACCEPTING world!

How to Support?

There are three main ways you can support GiGi’s Playhouse and become a GiGiFIT Acceptance Challenge Champion:

Attend an Event: Whether you create your own GiGiFIT Acceptance Challenge team or join or an existing team, you can help us raise awareness and funds by signing up and inviting your network to join you!

Donate: If you cannot attend a GiGiFIT Acceptance Challenge event, you can still support by making a monetary donation. The money we raise from the GiGiFIT Acceptance Challenge allows us to continue to provide 100% FREE programming to the Down syndrome community and their families.

Sponsorship: If you’re a local or national business, you can support our GiGiFIT Acceptance Challenge by becoming a sponsor! Whether you wish to sponsor at the local or national level, you can partner with GiGi’s Playhouse as we work to facilitate understanding, build free programming, and create a more accepting world through the GiGiFIT Acceptance Challenge!
