GiGiFIT Acceptance Challenge 2025
GiGiFIT Acceptance Challenge 2025

WE, the people of the Down syndrome community are challenging YOU to move for acceptance!!

You're invited to participate in the GiGiFIT Acceptance Challenge!! Events range from World Down Syndrome Day (March 21) through June 23, 2024!

What is the GiGiFIT Acceptance Challenge?

The GiGiFIT Acceptance Challenge is a physical and social movement for acceptance!!

The challenge is simple: Join the movement and accept the challenge to spread global acceptance for all! Join one of the 55+ events across the country and partake in the festivities to show your commitment to the inclusion of those with Down syndrome and all unique abilities!

All GiGi’s Playhouse locations host their own Acceptance Challenge, consisting of a fitness-based challenge and fun-filled activities for the whole family.

How to Help Make a Change

Whether you attend an event or choose to pledge support for the moment, supporters can raise awareness and funds by signing up and inviting their networks to join them! The funds and awareness you raise will help fund GiGi’s Playhouse’s 100% free programming, helping us change the way the world sees Down syndrome while sending a global message of acceptance for all!

Register for the GiGiFIT Acceptance Challenge nearest you or go above and beyond to host your very own event! All GiGiFIT Acceptance Challenge events have a fitness-based activity tied in to challenge participants while also going out to join alongside those who may be seen as “different” to discover we may not be so different after all!

Why Participate?

The best way to grow acceptance comes first through exposure and interaction. People with disabilities are often segregated from their peers, starting at an early ageAs life goes on, this segregation leads to a disconnect between those with disabilities and those without. The GiGiFIT Acceptance Challenge acts as a bridge that provides exposure, interaction and ultimately, understanding to reach our goal of acceptance and inclusion!
